What's "zero-knowledge"?
Your data is encrypted with a key derived from your master password, on your device. We never receive that password or your keys — so we couldn't read your vault if we tried (or were asked to).
What if I forget my master password?
Use your recovery code or an encrypted backup. We can't reset it for you — that's the trade-off that keeps your data truly private.
Is it really free?
Yes — the core is free and open source, and self-hosting is free forever.
Can I leave?
Anytime. Export your whole vault in one click.
Who can see my data?
Only you. Not us, not advertisers, no one.
